Class 1a vs non-Class 1a — what you can legally live in

Only our Class 1a homes are council-approvable and legal for permanent living — they're designed to meet NCC requirements, and we supply the engineering, wind rating and thermal documentation you need to apply.

Non-Class 1a units are not council-approved for habitation. They suit office, studio or storage use only — nobody can live in one. Not sure which you need? Ask us and we'll point you the right way.

The home ships folded at 2.2m wide, then unfolds on site to full width. 2–3 experienced people typically complete the unfold and initial setup in about a day, with the installation kit and manual included.
