Class 1a vs non-Class 1a — what you can legally live in

Only our Class 1a homes are council-approvable and legal for permanent living — they're designed to meet NCC requirements, and we supply the engineering, wind rating and thermal documentation you need to apply.

Non-Class 1a units are not council-approved for habitation. They suit office, studio or storage use only — nobody can live in one. Not sure which you need? Ask us and we'll point you the right way.

For permanent living you need our Class 1a range — it's designed to meet NCC requirements and is council-approvable as a dwelling. Non-Class 1a units cannot legally be lived in.

Yes — any habitable dwelling does. Approval is the owner's responsibility, but we supply the full documentation pack: structural engineering certificate, wind rating, fire/thermal documentation and electrical & plumbing specs.

Class 1a models run from a 2-bedroom 20ft (about 37–44 m² depending on width option) up to a 3-bedroom 40ft with veranda and side patio. Four width options are available on each length.

Standard production takes 20–30 days and shipping typically 4–8 weeks — most customers have their home on site within 6–8 weeks of ordering. We handle all customs and import paperwork, and deliver across South East Queensland.

Rental rules depend on your council and zoning. With a council-approved Class 1a dwelling you have the strongest starting position — check your local requirements and we'll supply the documentation you need.
